Banff

Today we spent the day at Banff. This is one of my most favorite places to go. It was definitely near the top of my list of things to do while we were here in Canada. We drove up with our friend, Cindy and we enjoyed walking around downtown and looking at the fun shops. It was pretty cold so going into the stores was a nice way to thaw out a bit too.

We went on a walk to get some nice views of the mountains and rivers and scenery that Banff has to offer. It was so beautiful! This is why I love this place!!

Later on in the afternoon, we met up with Jill and Darren for coffee (my sister and her husband) who had spent the night before in Banff. We had a really nice visit with them and then afterwards we met up with a friend of Cindy's that lives in Banff. We had dinner at the Irish Pub and then we made our way home.

This has been such a nice visit and we are really enjoying everything so far. We are only halfway through so I am glad that time isn't going too fast. Tomorrow we have a family get-together with my dad's side and then Aaron and Darren will be going to the Flame's hockey game and so Jill and I will have a fun sister hang out night. Good times...
