Aaron's Birthday

Today Aaron turned 26! After church the whole family, all ten of us, went to Downtown Disney. It is a nice shopping and restaurant district beside Disneyland. We had lunch at the Jazz Kitchen which had an awesome live jazz and blues band playing. We walked around for a little while and went to see a movie and then headed home in the rain. It was a pretty good day with the familia.

I have been reading a lot lately. I enjoy reading as it is but recently I have been going from book to book. I am now on my fourth book in two months! I just finished "The Kite Runner" which was amazing and have just started "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I have been wanting to read him for a while so it will be interesting to see how I like him. If any of you have any book suggestions I would love to hear them.

Anyways, with all the rain we have been getting down here, it has resulted in a lot of snow up in the mountains. We live just at the base of Forest Falls, which is a beautiful area. Aaron's sister's family went up there on Saturday and had a great time playing in the snow and hiking so tomorrow Aaron and I are planning on spending the morning there and checking it out. Should be fun!
