Kari & Chris ~ Engagement

Yesterday we had an awesome afternoon with Kari and Chris who are getting married in August. We drove over to Palm Springs and took some engagement pictures at a beautiful country club. They were such a great couple and we really enjoyed getting to know them and we are looking forward to their wedding this summer.

I am so thankful that we had such an amazing time in Canada with my family and friends. It is difficult to be away from them and this last visit was good and refreshing. I am also thankful that I am back in California sitting at home on my couch. After our fiasco with immigration it wasn't looking like I'd see this home for a while but by God's grace I have my 3-year visa!

We are really looking forward to 2008 and what it has in store for us. January is off to a great start with both our birthdays coming up. Mine is on Saturday and we are planning on driving down to the beach for the day. It is supposed to be sunny and 23C (72F) on my birthday so it will be a great day to walk around and enjoy the ocean. That has to be one of my most favorite things. Aaron's isn't until the end of the month so we'll see what he has in mind for that. Enjoy the pictures!
