Pedicures and the Pier

We had a great day on Monday. It has been a while since we've been out to the beach and it was a gorgeous hot day so we decided to head over to Santa Monica. Before we left I convinced Aaron to get a spa pedicure with me. He has never had one before and I kept telling him that he was missing out. It was awesome! I love when they put your feet in bags of paraffin wax... that's my favorite part.

Once we got to the coast we started out with some lunch and then we made our way to the pier. We spent most of the afternoon just walking on the beach and soaking up the sun. Later on we grabbed some iced coffees and watched people passing by on 3rd Street Promenade. For dinner we had some delicious crepes at a cafe and then we went to Palisades Park just in time to see that last few minutes of the sunset.

It was a pretty great day...
