Santa Barbara

Yesterday we spent the day in Santa Barbara. I had never been there before but I've always wanted to go. It is such a gorgeous area! We walked around downtown, had a nice lunch on a patio, walked around some more, grabbed a coffee and wandered around the pier for a while. I would love to go back some day and have more time to explore, everything was so beautiful!

At night we went to a "Death Cab for Cutie" concert. They are one of my most favorite bands so to see them live was amazing. They did a phenomenal show and it was a great way to end our trip. We parted ways with Cindy from there and headed home. What a great little getaway.. It's always good for Aaron and I but it was also great to have a nice visit with Cindy. She is moving back to Canada in August so I'll really miss her now that she isn't just a four hour drive away!

Well, it's good to be back home and I am feeling happy and refreshed!
