Newport

It was incredibly hot yesterday. 101 degrees hot. I don't do well with temperatures in the triple digits, I feel like I'm going to melt! Aaron suggested that we take the top off the Jeep and drive down to Newport. They say to avoid the beach on long weekends because it is so crazy crowded but I didn't care, I wanted the ocean and that coastal breeze. It was a really nice and relaxing afternoon. We walked around Balboa and had dinner on the pier. On our way home I laid my seat back and watched the dark starry sky above. I love to get away, even if it is just for an afternoon. Where do you like to go to relax?
