a trip to the snow

We've enjoyed some pleasantly warm weather this last week with temperatures in the low 80's! It's been a nice treat to have a bit of summer in January but today I was in the mood for some proper winter weather and scenery. Lucky for us, we happen to live 15 minutes from the beautiful, Forest Falls. We always like taking trips towards the mountains to enjoy the surroundings and the snow. We took a great 90 minute hike and I snapped a few shots along the way.

On another note, Aaron and I watched a documentary the other day called, "Young at Heart." We absolutely loved it and if you are looking for something to rent I definitely recommend checking it out.
