this week's happenings

This week we have our good friend, Paul Bruno staying with us. He was one of Aaron's friends from college and was one of his groomsmen at our wedding. He is also a brilliant musician and he is in the area to play a gig at The Roxy in West Hollywood. We are super excited to go see him and his band play tonight, it should be loads of fun. 

On another note, I had a pretty neat thing happen this morning. I headed to the grocery store to pick up some things and as I was pulling into the parking lot, the word, "egg mcmuffin" popped into my head. I thought it was a bit random and that perhaps I was just hungry and my body was communicating this with me by putting images of ham, eggs and english muffins in my head. As I parked my car and opened my door a lady came up to me and asked if I had any spare change... for an egg mcmuffin. I was like, "You know, it's funny you say that because I was just thinking of one myself." So we headed off to Mcdonalds and dined on egg, ham and muffin goodness. I love when little things like that happen.

I have been hard at work this week on a little surprise... I am really excited about it and for now it will remain a secret but hopefully (crossing fingers) I'll be able to announce it to you all later this week. Stay tuned for more...
