Bun in the Oven
Yes it's true, we're having a baby! Aaron and I are just overjoyed and couldn't be happier. We are so excited to meet our little peanut in December.
Thanks to my sister-in-law who works at a hospital, we were able to go in for an ultrasound last week. I was supposed to be 10 weeks but the ultrasound showed that I was actually 7. We heard the heartbeat and even saw the little heart flutter, it was one of the most amazing things ever!
I am now 8 weeks pregnant and so far things have been going really well. Other than some mild nausea and feeling tired, I have to say I feel pretty good and hopefully it stays that way :)
We made the big announcement in church today. As Aaron was ending his message he said, "Before we wrap it up this morning I just want to end with this... by introducing you to the newest member of our family!" And then he had the ultrasound picture up on the projector. Everyone was like, "WHAT!!?" It was really fun to share the news with everybody and they were all pretty excited too.
In other great news, I have purchased my tickets to go up to Calgary this summer and I will be there from June 22 - July 7. I am flying up to photograph the wedding of my good friend, Heather and I can't wait. It will also be really nice to see my family and friends and I even get to be there for my nephew's first birthday. Hopefully by then I'll have a little baby bump to show off :)
