summer days

We have been enjoying spending these hot summer days outside in the yard. Talia loves riding her bike, jumping on the trampoline, swimming in the pool, and Liam loves... laying on the blanket :)
He'll be joining in soon enough but for now he likes to just chill in the shade.

Life sure can be interesting with two little ones. It is double busy and double crazy but also double amazing and double the love.

There are moments that are a little nutty...
Like when Talia covered her hair in Vaseline while I was in the other room nursing Liam. (Nothing that google, some olive oil and dawn dish soap couldn't fix.)
Or when I had to call my sister-in-law to come rescue me in the middle of my run because Liam was having a mini meltdown in the baby jogger.

There are also moments that are incredible...
Like when Talia prays before she goes to sleep. It is the sweetest thing you have ever heard.
Or when she sings and dances so freely. She has such a beautiful spirit.
I love Liam's gummy smile and having "cooing" conversations with him.
It was also pretty awesome when Liam slept 8 1/2 hours the other night. That was the greatest.feeling.ever.

These two little people have such a hold on my heart.
And the good outweighs the crazy any day :)
