settling in
It was one week ago that we pulled out of our driveway in Southern California, our belongings packed in our cars, and drove up the coast to Pismo Beach.
After spending the last 6 years as pastors of a local church we felt God leading us to the central coast to work as missionaries with YWAM (youth with a mission.)
We had been preparing for this move for quite some time so for it to finally be here was a little surreal. As I drove up the 101 I spent some time praying and talking to God about these changes for my family. It is hard to step out in faith, to leave what is familiar and to trust God. It is definitely a stretching experience for us but at the same time I have so much peace. I know this is where we are supposed to be right now.
Part of me is a little scared, a little nervous, and another part feels alive, excited and like this is the beginning of a wild journey.
Thank you for those of you who are praying for us through this transition. We are settling in nicely and are excited for what is to come.

Best of luck to you and I know that if you follow the Spirit, every thing will work out.
