Two weekends ago we headed up to Monterey for a few days to celebrate my birthday! We had never been up to the area and I thought it would be a fun way to ring in the last year of my twenties. We packed up the car, packed up the kids and headed north on the 101 on my birthday eve. By the time we arrived it was already late afternoon so we strolled around Cannery Row, checked out McAbee Beach and found a fun park for the kids to play at until it went dark. It was such a beautiful place and we loved exploring it.
I am so excited to share the rest of our trip, it really was one of the most wonderful and beautiful adventures we've had :)
The kids went down this slide about a million and one times :)
